Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, but dish soap is made with real lemons? If you know that answer, let me know.
Currently (February 2019) I am involved in a work project that is very time consuming. So anything outside of getting to know someone via messaging/phone conversations will be very difficult. This note will be removed once my schedule returns to "normal".
I've debated whether to mention this next part, but I feel it's better to be honest and upfront, even before we even formally communicate. It will also serve to remove the judgmental ones from contacting me.
This is where we separate the ones who judge from the ones who don't. I have recently moved back to Fl. late last year to help my mom take care of my ailing father. He passed away in March. At her request, I've stayed here in order to help her around the house as she prepares to live in a senior living facility. Once she has secured the place she wants to move to, I will decide what area of Hillsborough/Pinellas/Pasco county I want to move to. My primary preference is to stay in Tampa area.
I am not interested in anything long distance.

-CHEATERS OR ANYONE WHO HAS EVER CHEATED! If cheating is a thing for you, it's not for me. I'm not the cheating kind and it is a sure fire way to quickly end the relationship, no matter how good everything else may be going. I know the common signs of them.
You MUST be an animal lover. I have a 7 y/o Boston Terrier who is my bestie. She's been with me since she was just 7 weeks old. I didn't think I had to mention this, but sadly I do...We are a package deal. Yes, she sleeps in my bed and that, with obvious exceptions will NOT change. This is 100% NON NEGOTIABLE!

I love good wine, craft beers, good music, and great conversation. I am an ocean lover as well as a scuba diver and I'm am totally at home by, in, on, or under the water, it's my natural battery charger.
Love to cook, especially seafood (a true pescatarian). I would love to one day visit (and possibly even live) where the life is simpler, the ocean is close and clean, and the seafood is so fresh you would think it's still alive. Places like Belize or Costa Rica would be a great place to look at.
I don't smoke or do drugs. I enjoy a beer or two with wings during a football game. I also enjoy BBQ'ing or smoking foods. I like margaritas or similar type drinks. I don't go far beyond that. I don't touch the hard stuff (straight). But I'm always up for a quality Margarita. Food favs are Latin, Italian, Indian, German...OK, most anything. I enjoy making my own Kombucha and Kefir. I also make a lot of dehydrated foods such as chicken, various veggies, and some fruits (like rollups).
I am a man who will always be there for my friends no matter what. I advocate doing the right thing, no matter how difficult it may be. It's the only way to do things. I believe if you give good, you get good in return. I'm a fan of the underdog.
I believe that there must always be two way communication. I love intelligent conversations.
A true Bucs fan and would love to have someone who is also. Starting to get into the TB Lightning too.
Love good music from Blues and Jazz to good ole southern rock and roll. Don't like rap/techno/hip-hop.
It is important to not just hear the person talking, but to actually listen. Empathy is a very important trait to me.
NOTE: I have read many profiles that say various things about a person, yet in real life, they are not what they say. Ladies, just be real. Making yourself out to be someone you are not is not only very exhausting, dishonest and hard to keep up, but eventually you will say or do something that brings that house of cards down hard. Yes, it's not just guys who play these silly games. Lay it out there and if the other person is good with it, the relationship is going to be built on a very strong foundation. Also, if you're a professional or serial dater, please hit the "Next" button. I don't have time to play childish games.
